Lizards temple           This is a small !!           Nice mask, but well guarded... CAZIC THULE : Inbound to Cazic Thule, the City of the Lizards ! I pass the forest of Feerrott and there I am in the city of Ogres. Here too, I am well accepted, therefore, no drow hunting, ... I grab information here and there, and they give me the direction of Cazic Thule. An Ogre Magi accepts to bind me to the city. If I die, I will reappear here. Cazic Thule looks like an aztec city, with angles everywhere, pyramids and gigantic stairways. Some lizards sentries here and there dont even seem to bother about my being there. I enter the city. Hey, got some messing, around here. A party is fighting 3 lizard defenders, I charge ... A few minutes later, the last monster falls. I am having a little chat when a sudden hiss startles everyone. I see a running dwarf routed par two alligators. ... one of the 'gators feels like chewing drows. Aouch ! But ... aouch ! That critter kinda bite hard ! I decide to have gator-on-a-stick for lunch : Zwiiiing (Heat Blood) Booiiiing (Vampiric Embrace) Hack (Tomahawk bash). The alligator is nearly dead when it's chum commes back to help it. not very fair-play from him but it works ... RUN LIKE HELL ! While running I admire the dwarf's corpse and I get away.   CAZIC THULE 2 : I decide to go back to CazicThule with a party. We arrive in a big courtyard, the lizard guards are not very aggressive here, they let the adventurers wander in the courtyard. My friends, who know the place, take me to another courtyard which face a little temple. During a halt, I cast invisibility on me to recon the temple... Two Defenders at the entrance, two Gorillas and a priest inside, all those guys are blue for me !! Question : "If I draw the Defenders, the Gorillas will follow ? (You have 2 minutes to answer). I you've answered yes, good answer !! Those dumbfaces are now five to try and bash us... Big fight, hitpoints decrease at an alarming rate. RUN LIKE HELL!! Back in the courtyard, we meet a group with the same problem and we are now about 10 adventurers running before a hord of hungry lizards!!! I can assure you that we did some cleaning in the access hall to the zone. All the guys who were resting there had about 5 seconds to stand and run, or die... Ha ha ha, Even in Befallen, I never had so many monsters behind me!!!   CROCODILE DUNDEE : The alligators of Cazic Thule come from a little pool in a very small room. I wondered how thoses things could live in so narrow a place ... I've got the answer. The other day, the party's Ranger asked : "what about a 'gator huntin' ?" Everybody seems okay so we proceed to the litlle room. ... "Follow us, Uen !" ... And all my pals dive in the pool !!! Hesitation time for your favorite Drow ..." Where the hell is Uen ?" ... "Err, I'm there". Splash !! the party's Troll emerges from the basin ... "Follow me, Uen". I dive after him et we swim towards the pool's deeps ... I reach the pool's bottom with half my air. The Troll takes a small tunnel. At the end, we emerge in a vast subterranean lake. The journey seemed a bit long to me as a pair of alligators apparently wanted to chew my boots all the time !!! I get out of the water in the blink of a eye, the two monsters on my heels. My chums start the fight. I hate to serve as a bait !!! Later, I learn that in this lake, dwells the Steel Golem who wears Rubicite Gloves but it's another story ...
