SUPER UENAELAR :
I finally get my level 9 ! My God, how beautiful is the magic...
At my disposal :
- A monster's evocation (a magnificent skeleton which fights admirably), I can ask it to attack a monster while I'm manicuring my nails.
- A spell of Drain Force (less for the monster and more for me).
- A stinking cloud.
- A spell of corpse detecting, it's convenient to find someone's corpse.
- A spell of invisibility to the undeads.
- A spell of undeads' detecting.
And all that in a riot of twinkling and wheeling around colours, etc.
MY FIRST GROUP :
Yersterday, I have taken part in an expedition in the old temple. The principle of "grouping" is cool. When you join up the group, you can see on the screen the life bars of your little companions. Experience and gold are shared between the members of the group according to the level.
Once in front of the temple, 5 or 6 piles of bones are lying on the ground in front of the temple… After inspection, it is about 3 skeletons, a mummy and a zombie. We attack ! ! If you haven't seen it, you've seen nothing in role playing ! ! I still can't believe it… Warriors' cries, spells exploding everywhere, blasted lighting effects… End of the fight… Group : 1 - Undeads 0.
We are waiting for the undeads to come back, quietly seated, a loud roaring makes me jump up from my chair (for good ! !). I turn round to face a Kodiak ! ! ! That big Teddy-bear is determined to eat me up… My poor skeleton has already been smashed up for having tried to shield me. I use all my round of ammunitions : Drain Force, then my harm touch (due to the anti-paladin), inflicts 91 points of damage. All around me magic is exploding, I get a magic shield which I don't know how it comes to me (surely from a magician friend). At that moment, two of us are already dead, I've lost half of my HP, but the Kodiak has only one third of his left...
Two minutes later, Teddy-bear is down and in our group, it remains only three out of six. I've only a quater of my HP left. And it was at that time that a stupid guy has the idea of drawing another Kodiak on us ! ! ! (the drow game you know). One and only solution for me : RUN LIKE HELL ! ! ! Later on, by the fire, I could show off because I am the sole survivor of that "famous" expedition.
A NEW LAND… DANGEROUS ! !
Thanks to my new spells, I decide to break out to the forest. The Commonlands are very green and hilly. Ready to go back on my steps, I boldly get forward on the little road… Oh ! A beetle, kitty, kitty, kitty… But it is three times bigger than myself ! ! ! I observe it by far, and I think I can kill it… Well, the beetle is dead. Oh, what's that flap-flap noise ? My god ! ! ! This griffin is gigantic… Fortunately, it seems to have eaten already and flies it's way without even looking at me. Look, but that lion is wonderful ! And it hasn't eaten yet. My skeleton is dead, but the lion too… It's time for me to get home, I turn round… The biggest spider I have ever seen is looking straight at me. It's during those moments that we don't regret the spiders' non-aggressiveness in this game. I gently make off… Just before arriving to the gorge leading to the forest, I see another "monster". It's an Orc, I again call upon a skeleton, I am full, ok, I tackle it ! ! Drain Force and I order my skeleton to attack… What ? ? What does that mean ? "I am on duty"… Which duty ? Arghhhhhhhh … three Legionnaires Orcs ? ? ? No ! ! That's not fair... Well… RUN LIKE HELL ! ! ! I cowardly give up my skeleton and I run away by the path... You know what ? Fortunately the monsters don't move from the area, otherwise I would have died.
